Mindful Frenzy |
This is a collection of stories I have written either by request or by my own desire. Though my first post was a Homestuck fan fic, that does not mean by any means that I am strictly an author of fan fics. My goal is simply to bring life to a story through a vivid collection of words. |
[Happy Birthday Sabryna~]
Xing who was plucked from the sky
The little one that cannot lie
Sometimes he likes to roll
At other times, he’s just plain droll
Throughout the day, he’s partial to pounce
But during the night, he will not move an ounce
Precious little Xing who loves his lazy mother
Wouldn’t trade her in for any other
A lot of those who were supposed to receive a writing for Christmas presents were sourly disappointed when only two turned up on Christmas Day. Unfortunately, I was set back when my cat sat on my keyboard when I had my back turned. Tabby’s story was practically lost and whatever she did caused my browser to freeze. It took me some time to settle everything and check my queue to make sure everything was still in place but I was still set back quite a bit. I’m still working on them so for now all I can do is release small samples for those who haven’t gotten their presents yet.
If you don’t wish to see your own until it is fully finished but you want to see what else is in the works for all the others, then I have labelled them to make that easier for you.
Briana - The Taste of Sherry
Sitting alone, drunk at the club wasn’t nearly as fun as what Eve had expected. Then again, when was it ever fun? Under normal circumstances, this would have been an outing including all of her closest friends. However tonight she felt different. This time, she needed to tough it out alone. Besides, she wasn’t drinkingaloneexactly for there were still people around just as inebriated as her, which definitely wouldn’t label her as an alcoholic using her own personal standards. In her current drunken state of mind, she wasn’t sure as to whether or not this loophole was justifiable. Not that it even mattered at this point.
“You seem pretty drunk. Are you planning on driving home tonight?” A crisp and charismatic voice spoke just in front of her. She looked up to notice the bartender looking over her with a concerned expression on his face. At first, she didn’t answer, instead, she examined the smooth, blurred features of his face. She could see his sapphire blue eyes clearly despite the disorientation and could make out the brownish color of his hair. She was pretty sure she could assume that he was rather attractive despite being unable to see him clearly. She might have a similar, more cohesive thought earlier upon first entering the bar but the notion was long forgotten when the alcohol began taking over.
“Wah? I cun total druv.” She warbled incoherently when she finally responded to the man’s question. It was then that she realized that maybe she actually was a littletoodrunk. Thinking upon it now, it probably would have been a smart idea to have actually brought her friends along to help keep her from going overboard.
Rather than receiving a chastising speech for her behavior, she was rewarded with a deep and strangely charming chuckle. The man scooped up the keys she had left laying out in front of her and shoved them into his pocket, shaking his head as he looked over her once more. Her face was bent over and her body slumped, but he could still see that she had a nice figure. Her dark hair, which was generally well kept was a bit messy from the times she dragged her hand through it clumsily during her attempts at propping her head up against the bar.
“Yeah. You’re not taking your car anywhere tonight. I’ll give you a ride home when my shift ends.” He snatched up the keys that she had mistakenly left laying out in front of her. Eve seemed less than pleased with his gesture of generosity but what was she to do when she was this drunk?
Tabby - Unlimited
Every now and then, we hear tales of a transcending type of love - epic tales of destiny and serendipity Rarely do we ever hear stories that entail a kind of love that is subtle but undeniable. The two girls Alice and Sherry share an unseen, rather odd love story that could easily be overlooked by others. Though this may be the case, their story is still one worth telling. It all started with a message.
Alice was the type who preferred to stay indoors and keep to herself. To her, the company of her neighbors in her small little town was not satisfying, nor was it engaging. Instead, she turned to the internet to fulfill her social needs. Online, there were an endless amount of possibilities. There were friends that had yet to cross paths, communities that were to grow and thrive, and an creative outlet for many who had yet to discover their talents.
Most people can relate when I say that Alice lacks a great amount of self esteem. She was short and stocky with a mangy mess of brown hair that reached her shoulders. That, paired with wire rimmed glasses gave her the belief that she was unattractive. In social situations, she was awkward and clumsy. However, underneath what she considered major flaws lied an untapped potential. Alice was imaginative, caring, and sincere.
This was exactly why her decision to join a blogging community was ideal. There she could express her ideals and dilemmas without care and connect with others who shared her type of mind set.
Sabryna - Going Down in Flames
I always tried to keep to myself and avoid conflicts with others. Yet trouble somehow always managed to find me and shake up my world. The final straw that caused me to break down was the last day of finals. Testing days were my favorite because nobody was to talk or disturb another classmate in any way. I enjoyed having those few moments of peace whenever possible because it always came crashing down as soon as I stepped out of those classroom doors.
The main source of my troubles came from a guy named Dante. He’s been a pain in my side since the day I shot down his romantic advances toward me in high school. Since then, he’s found ways to make my life a living hell. It started out as little petty things such as spreading false rumors about me or shoving trash into my locker before the school day began. Sometimes, I wish I could go back to those times where simple high school pranks were the only way he would try to get under my skin.
He followed me in life, even through college, progressively growing worse in his despicable ways. Once, he managed to smash my laptop to pieces and I wasn’t able to say a thing because there were no witnesses. Every now and then, he would remind me that the torment would end if I agreed to take him on as my boyfriend. Every time, I would decline. I had to continue on my own, if only to spite him.

[Chelsea requested that I write a story based off of the song Birthday Cake by Rihanna.]
When you have friends like mine, coming home to a surprise birthday party scheduled on a day that was nowhere near my actual birth date was something to be expected. Yet it still baffled me when I opened the door to my studio apartment in Atlanta to find my closest friends scattered about the place, wedged underneath the coffee table, crouching behind the couch, pressed up against the wall beside the front door, and the like. On cue they all burst out from the wood works, shouting their good wishes and assaulting me with their caring hugs.
Apparently, they had been planning this for weeks. They even prepared a birthday cake with my name on it and a card larger than any birthday card should ever be signed with love from all of them. The cake was chocolate overload with a fudge chocolaty center, chocolate icing, and to top it off, chocolate shavings covering it from head to toe. The card, when opened played a happy little tune, a simplified version of “The Hamster Dance”.
Grateful as I was, I was still very confused. When I asked about it, they simply urged that I blow the candles out and make a wish. I did as I was told and soon enough, the cake was being cut into various pieces for everyone to share. One of my playful eccentric friends, Caleb, immediately began picking at the icing before we even began cutting the cake. The others had to wrestle him away long enough for us to pass out the slices.
After we were finished devouring the cake, out came the champagne. The night continued on rather pleasantly. We played a number of games such as Twister, Truth or Dare, and some others on my Xbox. When the night came to an end, and it came time for everyone to start leaving, I had to ask once more.
“Why did you guys do this? It’s not even my birthday.”
Their reply was simple.
“It doesn’t have to be your birthday to celebrate the fact that you were born.” And then they were gone.
I have crazy friends, yes, but they are the best people in the world to me.
s0mbodybetter asked: Hello I was wondering if perhaps you were the author of a story titled flushed melody. I read a while back and as I recall the characters were the same as yours, I could be mistaken but I believe they were one and the same. Also you are quite talented and I enjoyed reading your work here as well.
Why thank you!! <3
But Flushed Melody is written by my little sister. The reason the characters are the same is because we both shared the same RP involving said characters. The two stories are unrelated.
The rope netting dug uncomfortably into Ashram’s tough skin, restricting his movement down to a mere pathetic wiggle. However, the restraints were the least of his worries. Kalina was staring down at him giving him that look. The expressions that flickered across the sharp features of her face were of an unknown nature Ashram never knew she had in her. After holding dominance of their kismessitude for so long, he supposed consequences such as this were inevitable.
He never expected it to be this extreme, though. She pressed her hips down against his and leaned down to scrutinize every little detail of his horrified face. From such a close distance, Ashram was able to smell the unexpected freshness of her breath and examine the surprising lack of glitter adorning her face. Though he never thought of it as a possibility, he could tell that she was so very sober. In previous conversations, she had mentioned her irrational fear of her “sober self” and he couldn’t help but wonder what circumstances caused bear such negative feelings towards sobriety.
Seeing her like this helped him understand more clearly. Her eyes were filled with an unfamiliar fiery intensity that burned him to his very core. She was far more stable, focused, and intelligent in this state of mind. If he wasn’t the chosen target for her little escapades, he would have been rather impressed with her talents.
Kalina allowed her gaze to wander along his form, examining every detail of his body while carefully calculating her next move. She would have to carry out her actions through the netting until he finally complied with her. It would be a difficult task, but she was positive she could force him to bend to her will.
She leaned down and latched onto his neck, biting down with great force while ignoring his muffled protests. She broke the rough ashen skin with ease, sampling a taste of his blue blood as it ran down his neck. Something close to a moan and a low growl vibrated at the back of his throat and his body jerked upward in vain attempts to throw her off. Kalina sat up, laughing loudly as she licked the blood off her lips, savoring the bittersweet flavor.
“If you start behaving, I’ll consider freeing you from these ropes.” She stated in a mocking tone.
If Ashram’s eyes got any wider, they would have possibly popped out of his head. His breath was erratic and his body writhed violently underneath her. As much as he hated to admit it, he would have to obey if he ever wanted to get out of there. When she began trailing hard bites down his torso and digging her claws into his side, he stilled in his movements, focusing his attention on anything but her.
It was painfully hard to ignore her actions. The way she abused him sent warm tingles down his spine despite the way his mind adamantly despised her touch. His breath hitched when her mouth reached the area above his pants line. He sincerely hoped she was going to go any further. Unfortunately, he knew her well enough to know that she had no plans to stop anytime soon.
Kalina pulled at his pants through the restraints, successfully freeing his member after a bit of tugging here and there. She wrapped her slender fingers around him, eliciting a reflexive moan from the back of Ashram’s throat. She laughed, low and devious as she continued to play with him. His body writhed with her movements, hips arching into her touch.
After several long moments of tortuously slow movements, Kalina finally opted to reward Ashram by enveloping the head with her lips and teasing the tip with a flick of her tongue. Ashram’s head fell back as his breath grew heavy. Even with the amount of times he’s chastised her about her habits, she was exceptionally good at what she does. With each movement of her tongue, surges of warmth and electricity spiked through his body. Despite how much he despised this, he was enjoying himself.
As Kalina moved lower, taking his member more into her mouth, his hips bucked upward. At first, he was expecting to relish the act of causing her some type of displeasure but she took the motion like a pro. She barely even flinched as she pressed her nose against his pelvis. As she rose, Ashram tensed and groaned, clawing at the ropes binding his hands underneath his back. The way she worked at him so hungrily drew every breath from his lips and rendered him weak and pathetic. He writhed with each rise and fall of her head, gasped whenever her tongue trailed circles around his head, and let out loud, hearty moans as she tightened the grip of her lips around him.
She continued to bob her head rhythmically until she was finally satisfied and pulled away with a loud pop. Ashram sighed in surprising annoyance, feeling a strange lack of stimulation when she stopped. She licked her lips with a grin, examining the flushed expression playing across Ashram’s face. At this point, it was apparent that he had already succumbed to the heat of the moment. She crawled back over him and sat up long enough to shimmy off her shorts and underwear all while keeping a close eye on his movement between her legs.
Just as she rested her hands against his hips and began to lower herself onto him, he managed to wrestle his arms free from behind. His hands shot out and gripped her legs hard, breaking the skin almost immediately. His movement was still strained and he couldn’t lift his hands high enough to remove the rope that kept his mouth gagged but he figured this would have to do for now. The hiss that slipped through her teeth as he scratched at her legs was positively delicious. Though he was giving in, he wasn’t planning on going down without a fight.
It took a short second for Kalina to recover from the way her body locked up when Ashram took the initiative to grab onto her but soon enough, she pressed her hips down against his with renewed vigor. She rested her hands against his hips before beginning to rock her body atop him, breath warm and heavy. Ashram continued to claw up and down her legs, drawing blood where he could and causing her olive green blood to trail down her ashen skin and pool around Ashram’s legs, staining the leaves on the ground beneath them.
He bucked his hips upward to meet with her movements, panting as he struggled to watch the bleary expression on Kalina’s face. She was enjoying herself but he could still see that she was thinking about something, maybe even still planning something. He questioned what she could even do after this. Wasn’t this her plan the whole time? Eventually, his thoughts fell to the wayside as his mind gradually clouded over from the pleasure.
Kalina dropped down above Ashram, resting her palms on either side of Ashram’s head while lost both in the moment and in thought. Ashram was surprisingly good despite his irrational fear of social interactions. She would probably be willing to do this again if it didn’t take so much effort to smoke him out of his hive. Her thoughts continued to flicker back and forth between the hazy look on Ashram’s face and what she should do after this was all done and over with until she finally decided that she would come up with something on the fly. Being sober meant her thought process was far more efficient than before.
Now that Kalina had moved herself within closer range, Ashram could latch his claws onto her torso with considerable ease. He pulled her body flush against his, hands trailing down to grip her ass as he arched his body upward to thrust roughly up into her. Kalina dug her fingers into the soil, nearly screaming as Ashram picked up his pace. In keeping her promise, she pulled the rope that kept Ashram silent for so long from his mouth. Before he could say anything about the situation, she swooped in for a kiss, pressing her lips to his with great force and nibbling on his bottom lip to force his mouth open. The kiss was heavy and noisy for they moaned against each others’ lips, volume rising as they inched their way closer to climax.
There was no time to grab a bucket, nor was there really any time to care. There was no use in worrying about making a mess laying outside they way they were. Instead they continued without a second thought, movements becoming erratic as a great heat began building up in their stomachs. Ashram’s body spasmed underneath Kalina as he finally came, movements slowing down as he rode out the orgasm. Kalina followed suit, teeth clamping down on his lip as she tensed and relaxed shortly after.
They stayed as they were for some time, catching their breath and recuperating before speaking.
“I’ll kill you.” Ashram hissed, breathless and sore from the exertion.
Kalina just laughed and stood, pulling her shorts back on before fixing Ashram’s pants out of some strange notion of courtesy. “Yeah. We’ll see about that.” She quipped before jerking him up using the rope that still held him down. Now that she was no longer holding the netting to restrict his movements, it hung loosely around his body. It wouldn’t take long for him to shed himself of the pesky trap.
“What’s going to keep me from exacting my revenge once I get out of here?” Ashram dared to ask as he wriggled out of the afore mentioned net. By now, Kalina had already turned her back to him and began walking away in the direction of her hive.
“Nothing.” She replied with a dismissive wave over her shoulder. “Except for the distance I’m about to put between you and I.” For a moment, she stopped to turn and grin at him with an air of confidence that was different from anything Ashram had seen about her before. “And we both know you wouldn’t dare chase after me.” She finished in a taunting, almost challenging tone before breaking out in a run.
Ashram grit his teeth as he watched her go. She was right. He wouldn’t chase after her. From what he could see, she was a faster runner and he didn’t have it in him to brave unfamiliar territory in the name of vengeance. Not yet, at least. He turned back towards his hive, seething. He would pay her back tenfold for this and make her regret ever stepping foot in his hive.
Kalina was successful in getting what she had always wanted from him: Ashram was finally beginning to take their kismessitude seriously.
Despite the arduous amounts of effort it took to climb the cliff near Ashram’s hive, Kalina made it up just in time to wreak some havoc. The first part of her plan required precision, above all else, and possible self harm before she could bait Ashram out of his hive. She took a moment to examine the outer linings of his hive, careful not to drag time out for too long. At this point, time was of the essence.
After familiarizing herself with the new territory, she hurried over to the closest view port she could find near the front. She readied her melodyKind and ended up with a flute as her choice of weapon. She sighed, turning the instrument over in her hands. Her strife specibus was perfect at putting her at a disadvantage no matter what the situation. However, she would learn to make due.
Her next action would serve as a crucial component for the “second” phase of her plan. She lifted her flute high above her head, practically throwing her body into the motion as she swung the flute down against the square stone patterning of his view port. The stone slowly crumbled away as she timed her next few swings until there was a hole large enough for her to fit through.
The flute, much to her surprise, suffered minimal damage from her assault, save for a few minor dings here and there. She put the flute back in its rightful place and hoped her strife specibus would allot her a far more useful weapon the next time she called for it.
Without wasting much time, she crawled into the hole, examining her dark surroundings. From the looks of things, she was standing in an empty room, one that Ashram more than likely avoided rooming in due to its close proximity to the outside world. He didn’t have a fear of the outside, just a fear of being found. If anyone could see in from outside, he surely would not want to be there. This was part of the reason she chose this particular room to break into.
She would have to be cautious from here on out. The plan wasn’t to die, it was to acquire one of Ashram’s very own traps to use against him. To do this, she would have to set one off without getting caught in it herself. She stepped out into the main foyer, and retrieved a set of stones from her sylladex after answering to the demands of her dancedanceModus in preparation to set off a few of his traps.
Now that she was sober, her mind was clear and her vision sharp. After a close examination of the walls and floors, she could see where the various traps were laid and what set them off. She stepped forward, chucking a stone in the direction of one of the concealed switches located on the floor. A square patch of the wooden floor slid open and a net shot up from the open space into the air. The sparkling stone slipped through the gaps of the netting, falling into the hole below.
So far, so good.
She tip toed carefully around the remaining switches, placing the stones back within an empty card of her sylladex. Standing before the contraption itself allowed her to scrutinize the source of the rope extending above into the ceiling and the pulley system used to lift the massive amount of weight it was intended to carry. Since it had already been activated, she had no qualms with climbing up the entwined rope and detaching the system from above. She would have to catch herself as the support gave way but her reflexes were far more refined while sober.
Her hand slid past a small space in the ceiling, groping the surface for the source of the rope. She eventually settled upon a knot, fiddling with it until she finally resorted to using her claws to cut the binds. It took a minute but the rope finally gave way, dropping her down below. Before she could be dropped into the pit below, her hand shot out and caught onto the ledge, catching her from the long fall.
Pain shot up through her leg as it hit the wall below hard. Without the sopor to dull the pain, her senses were enhanced, making her unused to this kind of physical damage. She winced as she pulled herself up, still clutching the net trap in her other hand and rolling over on her back. The pain was something she would have to cope with. She wouldn’t let anything get in the way of her plans.
She didn’t have time to dilly dally or wait for the pain to subside so she forced herself back onto her feet. She adapted quickly as she stumbled back outside, limp slowly stabilizing as she set the trap a few feet from the front entrance. Luckily, there were a number of trees nearby of which she could utilize to reset the trap. She worked quickly and efficiently, effectively putting an end to the first stage of her plan.
Next, she would need to make as much noise as possible without entering the hive itself. This would be difficult considering she wouldn’t be able to explicitly watch his every move. From her recollection of their most recent webcam chats, she was able to decipher the approximate location of which he had started his journey. She climbed up the side of his hive, glancing around to insure that the angling was correct before setting forth to make as much strategic noise as possible.
Predicting that Ashram would already be heading in the general direction of the front door, she slowly climbed around the wall, banging and kicking as she saw fit. She could practically smell Ashram’s distress from here and the thought of it brought her great joy. After a few more minutes of toying with an unseen Ashram, she heard a loud bang as well as the snap of the trap being set off.
A devious smirk flickered across her lips as she lowered herself back onto the ground and made her way to where she assumed Ashram would be ensnared in his very own trap. Sure enough, Ashram was there, flailing about midair. She listened closely before he finally caught on to the identity of his assailant and spoke.
“What the fuck are you doing out here?!” He yelled from above. She didn’t reply for some time, instead, taking in the sight of him in his helpless and vulnerable state.
“Just basking in the glory of my superiority.” She finally replied with a snide, toothy grin. His response was to hiss at her vengefully and struggled against the rope to reach out and swat at her face. He managed to wrestle his entire arm out but couldn’t reach far enough to even graze her with his claws.
“You have violated my privacy and I don’t appreciate it!”
She raised a brow and laughed as she lashed out with her own claws and left a substantial gash in his arm. Her eyes brightened at the sight of his hue of his azure blood dripping to the ground. “Does it look like I even care?”
“Fuck you! Let me down from here!” He spat disdainfully, throat vibrating in a low growl. Kalina merely cocked her head in contemplation, realizing that she would have to come up with a way to quiet him down before he could use his abilities on her to change her mind. Surely he was considering it right now.
She considered forcing him into compliance by using his horn reflex against him but that would be far too easy. She would have to silence him somehow. Upon settling on her decision, she climbed up the tree and releasing the trap from the branch above. Ashram fell to the ground, protests silenced as he hit the ground.
Kalina jumped down, landing atop his body as she set to work. She pulled the netting tighter against him using it as both a binding force and a gag. She flipped him over, straddling his torso and pinning him to the ground as she looked down at him with a triumphant grin.
He had no idea of what she had planned for him.

Compared to Kalina’s overtly decorated and sparkling hive, Ashram’s choice of living space was exponentially larger and had a more gloomy tone to it. Traps littered the expansive hallways, making it not only extremely dangerous, but near impossible for an outsider to find their way around without getting killed. Many of the rooms were remarkably empty and quite a few of them were filled with various belongings and decorated like any other respite block should be.
Ashram had a knack for getting lost within his own hive. His paranoia over what might be lurking unseen caused him to wander from room to room, unable to find his way back. His hive was a maze, and he liked it that way. If he himself found himself lost within the confines of his complex abode, then any outsider who was lucky enough to avoid his traps would find there luck streak coming to an end right then and there.
Tonight wasn’t the first night Ashram had lost track of his respite block. At this very moment in time, he was wandering down the hallways’ convoluted twists and turns and making sure not to run into any of his own traps along the way. He felt a strange tingle running down his spine as he walked and every now and then, he swore he could hear a rapping along the outer walls of his hives and the occasional loud bang. It set him on edge unlike anything else.
After talking with Kalina, he set out to relocate himself, hoping to find a more comfortable spot to settle down in. Unfortunately for him, no certain place felt safe. The noises were haunting him; something was on his trail and he didn’t know what. Kalina was right to warn him. At first, he was suspicious of what the troll might have had up her sleeve because nothing seemed to happen other than the odd chill that surged through his body when he left his room. Since then, the situation had escalated into something terrifying. There were unexplained noises emanating from every corner of his hive and they somehow traveled with him.
There was no escape.
But then, suddenly occurred to him that he might actually have to leave the sanctity of his hive. He grimaced at the idea, turning the thought over in his think pan as he continued to wander about, sparing frantic glances over his shoulder every now in then in vain attempts to make sure nothing was watching him. It was then that he made his decision. He was no longer safe here. He had to leave.
He scrambled to escape, dodging his traps as effectively as he could. When he finally made it to the front door, he all but crashed into it, bursting outside with wild abandon. He paused for the briefest of moments to catch his breath before stepping out further, eyes carefully scanning everything in the area to confirm that the coast was clear. It looked to be okay so he quickened his pace.
With his next step, a sound of rustling leaves vibrated from just beneath his feet. Before he could even react, he was snatched up from the ground and ensnared in one of his very own trap nets. He writhed against the restraints, eyes wide as he desperately struggled to both escape and find whoever was responsible for this. His traps were supposed to be strictly inside hive yet someone somehow managed to sneak in, steal one of his traps, and set it up out here.
If he wasn’t too busy panicking and if it wasn’t him who ended up captured, he would have commended the troll that had the gall to do such a thing. But just when he was beginning to believe things couldn’t get any worse, he began to hear the faint sound of footsteps approaching from his blind spot. He was completely vulnerable like this and he didn’t like it. Not at all.
It took some effort, but he finally managed to crane his neck just enough to see the outline of his assailant. It had been a while since he actually encountered anyone face to face but he was pretty sure of who it was from what he could make out of those thin features.
He was now so very confused.
“What the fuck are you doing out here?!” He exclaimed in horror. Never in his life had he imagined anything of this scale this happening. It wasn’t possible. There was no way anyone could have thought things out this thoroughly. He always made sure to stay on top of everything. Nothing could have gotten past him.
He should have thought twice about taking any stock in what Kalina had to say.

Colors danced across the glowing ceiling of Kalina’s hive as she laid sprawled out across the glitter encrusted floor of her respite block. It was the only comfortable position she could find given her current condition. Her mind was frantic and hazy as it began falling into a level of angst and depression she usually preferred to avoid.
She wanted to be taken seriously for once. She wanted Ashram to say once and for all that he actually enjoyed being her kismesis, that his black feelings for her burned as deep as the flames she had always felt towards him.
Nobody ever believed her whenever she claimed she had a kismesis and who would? The same thought would always run through their minds: how could she ever share something so intense with anyone when she was always too busy puking glitter everywhere she went and giggling like a maniac? Kalina was always forgetting things, changing her mind, and could never decide on what hobby to obsess over like everyone else did. The only thing that ever truly stuck was her love for sparkles. It was pathetic.
But lately she found that there was one thing she was willing to take seriously, one thing she actually wanted to obsess over, one thing she could be consistent about. She wanted to share a true kismesisstude with the troll named Ashram. They hated each other, just as the black quadrant dictated, and it took quite a lot of convincing to get Ashram to agree to sharing said quadrant with her. Even then, there was something missing. She was willing to work around his ridiculous phobias and come up with new and creative ways to keep the fires alive and burning but…
It wasn’t enough.
Not because she couldn’t touch him or fight like a normal kismesis was expected to do but because of the fact that he still didn’t take her seriously. He looked down upon her when they were supposed to be equals sharing the same battlefield both literally and figuratively speaking. Sure, his azure colored blood drastically outranked the low olive color of her’s, but it shouldn’t have mattered after they got past that point in the relationship.
She wanted to be the one dominating just this once, which brought her to the point where she was now. Ashram had stated time and time again that he couldn’t take her seriously when she was constantly far too inebriated on sopor slime to comprehend reality at the same level as him. So she made her decision. She was going to sober up even if she despised her coherent self more than anything.
The pain was setting in now. There was no way she could move from her spot. Laying there on the floor was the best position she could find that didn’t send spikes of pain shooting down every limb in her body. She felt heavy at first, like a weight was pressing down on her, threatening to crush her into nothingness, but now she was starting to feel as light as a feather.
She grimaced, realizing that the mind altering effects of the sopor would be wearing off soon. The thoughts that began forming in her mind gave her a sullen, yet irritated feeling deep in the pit of her stomach. She could feel the want, no, the need to project these emotions onto someone else, to make them bow down, to ruin something. Though the pain had yet to subside, she rolled over and pushed herself to a stand. First things first, she definitely had to get rid of all this glitter covering every inch of her body even if the pain grew to an intolerable level.
After taking some time to wash herself off, she returned to her respite block to open up her husktop. Now that she was fully sober and the pain was gone, the first thing she wanted to do was contact Ashram. He was her first target and the easiest one to manipulate if she played on his phobias and obsession with the paranormal correctly.

Every decision had to be meticulously set into place before she would take any action. The seed of paranoia was planted and his fears would only serve as the fertilizer that nurtured the flower that was soon to bloom.
